The cross country team kicked off the post-season running at the FHSAA 1A-8 District Championships last Tuesday, November 4 at South County Regional Park.  Both teams advanced to the Region Championships with the boys advancing as DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!  This is the first District Championship in school history!

The boys team showcased their strength, grit, determination and perseverance as they managed to edge out Marathon by 6 points to earn the District Championship.  The win was not easy as they had to overcome the loss of one of the team’s top runners as Junior Hunter Smith who was unable to compete.  The athletes remained focused and executed the race strategy to perfection.
